Is Vox's content really that special? I'm aware of what he does but it's just not my thing so I've never tuned in. I thought there were others in NijiEN who did similar stuff as well. But it's weird to see such a huge gap between him and everyone else in the company.

Literally the power of fujoshi money flowing into his pocket at the cost of dignity and lack of backbone to say "nay". His voice's great, he can impersonate characters and knows quite a lot of stuff that make him quite of a great collab partner. That said, it's his voice content that people really like, and that includes his degenerate R18-level stuff that he created which is bringing the most of the money. Considering how far he's willing to go, maybe that's why its special.

Still, even then, man basically so distinctive that even some JP nijisanjis want him, and I still remember that one, lone Vox fangirl during the livestream of Nijisanji Fest that stood out among many Nijisanji fangirl/fanboys that into JPs.

Otherwise known as common sense and things anyone that has ever been in a relationship has probably understood if they're not a brain damaged fucklord. I listened for 10 minutes off and on and maybe I'm just way overestimating the emotional competency of the average vtuber viewer and/or have no idea who this stream is supposed to be for, but if you really need to be told shit like make sure you can tolerate living together, ensure you have trust in each other, plan for various common health concerns with having/raising children, maybe just get castrated so you don't infect the gene pool.

its okay to say common sense things sometimes, to be reminded what is supposed to be normal. Shit doesnt have to be ultra insightful and change your life, words and advices really just cant do that. There are hundreds of people stuck in shitty relationships. which they consider normal. Even more teenagers that havent really been in a serious relationship with their partner that dont understand commitment required in it. A lot of deadbeat parents who cant do shit with their child. And if you think reciting common sense is somehow fruitless, remind yourself that there is a thread on homeland where people talk about husbands cutting off their dick off and then emotionally abusing their significant ones just because the internet people said that will make them happier.

British accent is unironically a buff, especially his kind of accent (as opposed to Mysta's). That being said Vox does stand out for other reasons. The thing with NijiEN guys - especially Luxiem - is that Vox is so visible and so popular that people who don't watch any of them assume they're all like him. If you look at their content that isn't really the case. Like, lets look at ASMR, the thing Vox is arguably most known for, and see what the rest of Luxiem does with it. Luca and Mysta do ASMR, but don't lean nearly as much into scenarios (lewd or otherwise) and don't do it nearly as often. Ike has like one stream (which was basically just a zatsudan with an ASMR mic) and I don't think Shu has ever done one. So if you want male ASMR scenarios, Vox is your guy. Even if you add in the rest of the NijiEN guys none of them come close to Vox's ASMR output.

The only thing that pisses me off about it is when people so diligently go onto rant about holo unicorns and gachis and how that is "LITERALLY RUINING THE VTUBER INDUSTRY OMG CORPO EVIL", while these guys get away with very blatantly encouraging said behavior but those same people don't say a peep about it.

I mean, go on /vt/ any day of the week and you'll probably find people saying a "peep" about it. And people here bitch about NijiEN gachis all the time even though there's not much difference between the stereotypical Chinese office ladies and male Japanese NEETs who make up both groups of gachis.

People go after popular targets. Bitching about Hololive draws more reactions than bitching about Nijisanji. But there are people who do go after both. A lot of the vtweeters who were triggered by Kotoka saying "retard" are the same sorts of people who also hate Calli, for example. So maybe the NijiEN members just have to say more slurs and Niji will become an equal target for the vtweeters.
