I think it's consistent because the people who fight against "gooner" stuff on Twitter are almost definitely trying to break down sexual/social norms in their own way, for their own purposes. Just not your purposes.

You don't have to make a space for kids just because you don't want people being promiscuous or degenerate. There is a middle ground.
