It kinda feels like they looked at common complaints about OW2 and just did the opposite of whatever Blizzard was doing - so you end up with 6v6, more balanced roles, fewer bullshit kill denying abilities, all characters unlocked, etc. I'm an extreme Marvel tourist but it's been very fun so far.

Outer Worlds is like the epitome of "I'm not mad I'm just disappointed" for me, it plays like Borderlands but without the saving graces of lootbox gacha and multiplayer. The RPG elements are stretched really fucking thin. It sucks because the setting had a lot of potential.

It's 1 normal game, 4 fun game modes, and launch royale for the last round (which is basically normal but with everything set back to season 1 balance patches with limited roster)
