I do think the writing is good, but it does seem pretty longwinded. Personally, the interactions between characters seem fine, but it's the long soliloquys about the heart condition that drag on and on and on.
I didn't have a choice but to do a second run. I went for Lily first, too, but I picked every wrong choice.
