Some of those mini retro handhelds are actually really nice. I have a Miyoo mini plus and it's nicer than playing on my phone or pc sometimes.

Miyoo, Anbernic, and Retroid are all good and can get a nigga up and to playing PS1 no problem, some of the higher end models from Retroid can do GC/PS2. Just sucks you have to wait forever and get it shipped from China or eat the added middle man cost from someone who already imported one here in the west
